This office is like my second home, and the people here like my second family. I have worked on and off in this office since high school, on summer breaks and holidays, as an assistant and at the front desk. Now as a dentist here, I look forward to providing the same level of care that my mother, Dr. Pendergrast, has for so many years.
Working alongside my mom has been awesome. I learn so much from her and it is fun to see her every day. I love the team here because everyone is positive, hard-working, and focused on patient care. We work hard and have fun!
My interest in general dentistry is based in my desire to build and cultivate relationships with my patients. I love interacting with so many fascinating people in the community, and learning about what is happening in Fairbanks.
My undergraduate education was in psychology and business, and I earned my MBA from Western Washington University. I received my DMD (Doctor of Dental Medicine) at Midwestern University’s College of Dental Medicine in Glendale, Arizona. I participate in a Spear Education study club with my mom and other dentists and specialists from the community. Continuing education is important to me because I want to stay updated on techniques and information.
Outside the Office
I’ve been with my husband Jay for 14 years. I love animals of every kind, but am allergic to pretty much every fuzzy animal, so we have lizards for pets. My hobbies include reading, writing, and running. I love the arts community here in Fairbanks, and going to concerts and theater productions whenever possible.
